Cancellation Policy
This Cancellation Policy applies to all bookings made through booketernis.com. We understand that travel plans can change, and this policy outlines the terms under which cancellations, modifications, and refunds are processed.
1. Cancellations by the Customer
Refunds for customer-initiated cancellations are calculated based on the number of days before the scheduled tour departure date, as follows:
| Time Before Departure | Refund Amount |
|---|---|
| 30 days or more | 100% refund (minus non-refundable deposit, if applicable) |
| 15–29 days | 75% refund |
| 7–14 days | 50% refund |
| 3–6 days | 25% refund |
| Less than 72 hours | No refund |
Notes:
- Deposits paid to secure a booking may be non-refundable, as specified at the time of booking.
- Refunds, where applicable, will be processed to the original payment method within 7–14 business days of approval.
- Any payment gateway or transaction processing fees incurred are non-refundable.
2. Modifications to a Booking
Requests to change tour dates, packages, or participant details must be submitted in writing to our support team. Modifications are subject to availability and may incur additional charges, particularly where the request is made within 14 days of departure.
3. Cancellations by Eternis Tours
In the rare event that Eternis Tours or a supplier must cancel a confirmed booking due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., insufficient participants, supplier unavailability, safety concerns), customers will be offered:
- A full refund of amounts paid, or
- The option to rebook an alternative tour or date, subject to availability
4. Force Majeure Cancellations
Where a tour cannot proceed due to events beyond our reasonable control — including natural disasters, government travel restrictions, civil unrest, pandemics, or extreme weather — Eternis Tours will work with customers and suppliers in good faith to offer rescheduling or credit toward a future booking. Cash refunds in such cases are subject to the cancellation terms of the relevant third-party supplier and may not always be guaranteed in full.
5. No-Shows
Customers who fail to arrive at the designated meeting point at the scheduled time without prior notice will be treated as a no-show and are not entitled to a refund.
6. Travel Agent and Supplier Bookings
Cancellations for bookings made through a travel agent must be submitted by the travel agent on behalf of the customer, subject to the same refund schedule above. Suppliers must honor confirmed bookings unless a valid cancellation is processed through the Eternis Tours portal.
7. How to Request a Cancellation
To cancel or modify a booking, contact us at:
Email: info@booketernis.com
Please include your booking reference number, full name, and reason for cancellation to expedite processing.
8. Changes to This Policy
Eternis Tours reserves the right to update this Cancellation Policy at any time. The policy in effect at the time of booking will apply to that booking.
